How does TRICO® GARDEN work?
TRICO® GARDEN repels deer through a dual-action mechanism:

Scent barrier: The natural smell of sheep fat deters deer before they approach.

Taste deterrent: If deer attempt to eat the plant, the unpleasant taste teaches them to stay away.
This method ensures that deer learn to avoid treated plants, reducing browsing pressure over time. The formulation is safe to plants, humans, and animals.
When and where to use TRICO® GARDEN?

When to apply: At the first signs of deer damage, typically in spring and autumn.

Where to apply: On ornamental plants, shrubs, and young trees in private gardens, estates, or parks.
Tested on:
Geranium, roses, daisies, violas, forsythia, laburnum, weigela, begonias or salvias.

How to use TRICO® GARDEN
Dilution and application:

Mix 1 part TRICO® GARDEN with 3 to 5 parts water, depending on deer pressure.

Use a handheld or knapsack sprayer with a medium nozzle.

Dosage: 0.2 L of product per 100 m². Water application rate: 0.3 - 1.0 L per 100 m².
Application tips:

Spray evenly on all parts of the plant to be protected.

Apply early morning or late evening during hot weather to prevent plant stress.

Repeat after 28 days if necessary. Maximum of 4 applications per year.

Do not apply before rain – the product must dry to be effective.

TRICO® GARDEN has been tested on a wide range of plant species without showing phytotoxic effects. Safe for use on hardwoods, conifers, and ornamentals, including:

Geranium, roses, daisies, violas, forsythia, laburnum, weigela, begonias, salvias.
💡Note: Always test on a single plant before treating large areas.
Plant Safety Note: During hot weather, apply in the morning or evening to avoid leaf burn. Avoid applying before rain. Product must dry on leaves to be effective.
